Vancouver, B.C. - Brilliant Mining Corp. (BMC: TSXV) ("Brilliant" or the "Company") today reported record quarterly production from its 25% owned Lanfranchi Nickel Mine, located in the world class Kambalda Nickel District of Western Australia.

Key Point Summary:

• Quarterly production reaches 2,403t Ni (5.3 million lbs) contained Ni metal
• 49% increase from December 2007 Quarter
• 119% increase from the September 2007 Quarter.

The Lanfranchi Mine produced 82,356 tonnesof ore grading 2.92% Ni for 2,403t Ni contained (5.3 million lbs), a 49% increase in nickel tonnes over the previous quarter and a 119% increase from the September 2007 Quarter.

President of Brilliant Mining, Mike Sieb commented, "The scheduled growth in production will be achieved through continued incorporation of Deacon ore and the sustained escalation of production from the high-grade Winner orebody."

The project is supervised by John Williamson, P.Geol., of Edmonton, Alberta. Mr. Williamson is CEO and a Director of Brilliant, and is the qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
